
The culture of a business is defined as the reason for being in existence and the bedrock foundation on which it operates. If a business truly has a culture it will evaluate all decisions, actions, and strategic choices in the light of their cultureal fit.
Culture evolves over time, hopefully for good and not for bad, such that the dream / vision is moved along by different generations of management. In an ideal situation, all members of the organisation should be able to challenge decisions for being against the culture of the business.
